A South Korean actress who cut her teeth while studying Theatre and Film at Kyung Hee University, Joo-young made her on screen debut in 2016 and since then has become known for her roles in the series Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo (2016-2017), Itaewon Class (2020), and Times (2021). While she’s also had a few notable performances in films, including Maggie (2018) and Baseball Girl (2019), we were most happy to see her return to the small screen in the Netflix mystery series The 8 Show.
