Sacrifice (2021)

The BET+ series Sacrifice debuted on the premium streaming service in the fall of 2021 and centers around high powered entertainment lawyer Daniella Hernandez (Paula Patton). On the surface, Daniella seems to have it all, what with her mingling with the biggest names in the entertainment industry, but in actuality, she's basically dealing with a bunch of babies that look like adults. Their various scandals and peccadilloes cause her to have to constantly be putting out fires and it's taking a serious toll on her mental state. Couple that with the fact that she's also coming to grips with some major childhood trauma that has recently resurfaced in her life and it's a recipe for disaster. While her life may seem glamorous, she's constantly dealing with protecting her clients from abuse, helping them recover from major medical issues, and in one case, even rescues one of her clients from drowning in a pool at her grandmother's 80th birthday. It's all in a days work for Daniella, but the more she tries to act like all of this is completely normal behavior, the more strenuous it's going to be on her increasingly fragile mental well being. Perhaps the biggest let down in the series is that it's rated TV-14 and therefore we never get any nudity, at least not in the first season. Paula Patton is dead sexy, showing off lots of cleavage and sporting a variety of sexy outfits, along with several of her co-stars, but it looks as though nudity was the real Sacrifice that was made in creating this show!
